On the first Tuesday of each month a 7:00pm we will hold a Silversmithing Induction Course. You MUST complete this before you can go onto any other silversmithing activities.
Places for this will be limited and you will need to book. You can't just turn up and hope an Instructor will be available.
You must be a member of the Townsville Gem & Mineral Club to attend this course.

Creative workshops will recommence on February 8th and occur on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
No booking required but the classes are limited to 10 people so first in best dressed.
Cost is $10.00 per member and classes start by 9:15am

Agate Creek fossicking area is about 70km south of Forsayth by a gravel road, which is suitable for conventional vehicles, but may be impassable in the wet season.
Camping is not permitted in the fossicking area, but the landholder allows camping nearby. The Agate Creek campground is located adjacent to Agate Creek outside the fossicking area.
